Uspa cares about a sustainable future and the environment that surrounds us. In 2011 we have chosen to support the 100% Renewable Energy Campaign.
In today's global landscape it is imperative that we protect our planet. We have the technology and the ability to create greater sustainability for the world we inhabit by switching to Renewable Energy.
The current objective of the campaign is to see a 'Fair Go for Renewables' Bill' (national feed-in tariff) legislated, alongside a price on pollution, in 2011.
We have engaged our national distributors, who in turn have engaged our salon and spa network. A simple survey is being collected through our network that will be part of the 10,000's of surveys tabled in the Australian Parliament.
Australia has the potential to be a clean energy leader on the global stage. Renewable energy means a safer future for our children and grandchildren. Renewable energy also means that businesses have a real opportunity to reduce their own carbon footprint.
Right now Australia faces a choice: we can continue our dependence on fossil fuels, keep mining and burning coal, keep polluting our air and water. We can keep damaging our farmland and heath, be left behind the rest of the world on investment and face an uncertain future with an unstable climate.
Or we can make the switch to 100% clean renewable energy, creating a safer, healthier happier future for all. Consumers of energy need safe energy options and renewable energy provides that.
The team at Uspa Immersion has also supported the campaign by joining others on May the 26th at the steps of the Victoria Parliament to make a stand for Renewable Energy.
