Beyond the Product
Beyond the Product is what helps us at Uspa be more mindful of our actions; it is the cornerstone of everything we do.
In being mindful we are able to take a step back and view our entire supply chain. Once you become mindful you become more respectful. Respect for the planet, our products, our treatments and our partners is our aim.
Beyond the product is our commitment to sustainability and the environment. For the past 12months we have been researching our carbon footprint and analyzing our business. Our aim was to increase our awareness of where our carbon emissions come from and use this information to pave the way to a lighter footprint.
Beyond The Product will give our customers a deeper understanding of what we do for the environment. It will help to educate on how we are working towards sustainable growth.
Sustainability
Being sustainable is about being in balance. Balance reflects meeting the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future. This is very much akin to the philosophies shared by many indigenous cultures throughout the world. These cultures work so closely with the earth, they know how to respect the environment, but more importantly why our earth must be protected.
At Uspa we aspire to ensure balance is being met between our business and the environment. We are committed to our planet's longevity and how we as a company can ensure our actions incorporate a lighter footprint. As a company that harnesses the wonders of nature for our products we have an obligation to ensure we are protecting the very earth that provides these ingredients.
Looking forward
Being more sustainable is not a means to an end, it is a journey. It is necessary for our planet's future.
Each day we'll be looking at new ways to continue to reduce our waste, water and energy usage. Every year we will review ways to reduce our emissions then offset what's left in the most responsible and ethical manner.
This is an exciting time, a time where we have an opportunity to create, design and manufacture products that produce no waste.
